Let’s talk about food!
We all have stories and experiences around food, and we all bring value to community discussions that aid in understanding nourishment.
Jex facilitates conversations to help people understand the social contexts that impact how we nourish ourselves and the science of how our bodies use that nourishment to survive.

New Offering!
Zine Workshop
to support your next conference or event
All conferences offer the experience of learning information with others in various ways. Not all conferences offer participants the opportunity to synthesize and process that information on the spot. This workshop will facilitate the synthesizing process of turning that informational experience of attending a session into a) a part of their knowledge base, b) wisdom that they can lean on when making decisions, and then c) the application of that original information to their life and work–all thanks to the art form of zines!
A Zine Workshop…
Accommodates different learning and processing styles
Adds a chance to pause for fun, joy, creativity, and connection in what can be a “go-go-go” context
Provides attendees with body doubling, time, space, and the opportunity to do their processing at the event, because it’s not guaranteed to happen after
Enhances networking as it encourages attendees to swap their zines and share their reflections and synthesis
If a full session doesn’t fit in your event schedule/planning, perhaps offer this as an interactive room or table at your event—a space for people to stop by and create zines.
Interactive workshop-style tabling. I’ll be an on-site facilitator to give participants a chance to do creative processing anytime during the conference.
Potential to copy and fold attendees’ zines to share with others on-site (with permission, of course)
